5.4 AC PARALLEL OPERATION
(If equipped)
WARNING!
Do not start the generators before connecting the parallel cable.
If the cable is connected while one generator is running it will be
overloaded.
WARNING!
NOTE
For continuous operation do not exceed the combined rated power.
Stop the engine before connecting or removing the parallel cable.
For single unit operation the parallel cable must be removed.
The onboard generator outlets will not function when the parallel kit is
plugged in.
1.
Make sure both generators are OFF.
2.
Connect the two parallel connectors to the two parallel sockets of each
generator.
3.
Attach the ground wire to the ground terminal on the first inverter generator
then connect the second ground wire to the second inverter generator.
4.
Start each engine according to ‘Starting the Engine’.
5.
Confirm appliances are turned off, then connect the appliance to the
parallel kit.
6.
Turn on the appliance.
Only connect two Energizer
®
eZV i-Series inverter generators in
parallel with the Energizer eZV i-Series parallel kit. Attempting to
connect a different brand or model in parallel with your generator
will void your warranty and could cause bodily harm.
