8. MAINTENANCE
8.1.
Safety instructions for the repair of the product
Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional technicians.
If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your dealer to
receive the technician’s manual.
• Repairs to the product may only be made by a qualified service technician and according to
the manufacturer’s instructions.
• No modifications or alterations to this charger shall be made without the prior written
approval of the original manufacturer, its authorised representative, or a successor thereof
which may affect capacity, stability or safety requirements of the charger but not limited to
these examples.
• Others who are not working on the charge rand/or battery must keep a minimum distance
of 0.5 m.
• If repairs or other work needs to be done on the charger, make sure the charger is
completely switched off by unplugging it from the mains.
If the RGB LED flashes, the charger is active. Do not disconnect the battery!
Only when the RGB LED shows a SOLID colour (also white) you can disconnect the battery.

A daily maintenance check can limit wear to a minimum.
• Make sure that the instruction manual is complete, legible and available for reference.
• Check the complete charger for: damage, corrosion or cracks in structural components.
8.3.
Maintenance instructions
1. Inspect the leads
If you see that the main line is damaged, very carefully remove the plug and remove the product from
service.
Continuing to work with the device can lead to electrocution, resulting in serious injury or
death.
2. Inspect for loose screws
If you notice that the screws are loosening, re-tighten them with the appropriate screwdriver.
3. Check all the ventilation slots for obstructions.
• Remove all dust and dirt if necessary.
• Make sure that the ventilation slots are open and not obstructed by objects.
Dust and/or dirt prevent the charger from ventilating optimally.
