Diagnostics and troubleshooting

Hauser

Failure current ≤ 3.6 mA or ≥ 21 mA

• Pt100 not connected correctly

 Connect device as per →  25

• 4 to 20 mA cable not connected correctly

 Connect device as per →  25

• Pt100 resistance thermometer defective

 Replace the device

• Temperature head transmitter defective

 Replace the temperature head transmitter

Measured value is inaccurate/incorrect

Pt100 connected in 2-wire circuit, cable resistance was not compensated for

 Compensate for the cable resistance

 Connect Pt100 as 3-wire or 4-wire circuit
