3.3.4 Turning the transmitter housing
Turning the aluminium field housing

The rotating mechanism for devices for hazardous areas Zone 1 (ATEX/IEC Ex) or Class I Div. 1
(FM/CSA) is different to that described here. The procedure for turning these housings is described
in the Ex-specific documentation


1. Loosen the two securing screws.

Caution!
Special screw! Do not loosen screw completely or replace with another screw.
Use only original parts from Hauser.
2. Turn the bayonet catch as far as it will go.
3. Carefully lift the transmitter housing as far as it will go.
4. Turn the transmitter housing to the desired position (max. 2 × 90° in either direction).
5. Lower the housing into position and re-engage the bayonet catch.
6. Retighten the two securing screws.

3.3.5 Turning the local display
1. Unscrew cover of the electronics compartment from the transmitter housing.
2. Press the side latches on the display module and remove the module from the electronics
compartment cover plate.
3. Rotate the display to the desired position (4 × 45 ° in both directions), and reset it onto the
electronics compartment cover plate.
4. Screw the cover of the electronics compartment firmly back onto the transmitter housing.
