As an option, Hauser can also deliver reinforced connecting cables with an additional
reinforcing metal braid. We recommend such cables for the following cases:
• Cables laid directly into the ground
• Rodent damage to cables
• Device operation which should comply with the IP 68 (NEMA 6P) standard of protection

Operation in zones of severe electrical interference

The measuring device complies with the general safety requirements in accordance with
EN 61010-1, the EMC requirements of EN 61326/A1 and NAMUR recommendation NE 21.

Grounding of the shield is by means of the ground terminals provided for the purpose inside the
connection housing. Keep the stripped and twisted lengths of cable shield to the terminals as short
as possible.
