General troubleshooting

When troubleshooting, the entire measuring point must be taken into account:

• Transmitter

• Electrical connections and cables

• Sensor
The possible causes of error in the following table refer primarily to the sensor.

Clean device.

Calibrate device.

Display value fluctuating
greatly

Is the mounting location correct?
Disturbance from gas bubbles?

‣

Select a different mounting location.

‣

Eliminate gas bubbles at the installation
location, e.g. using a gas bubble trap or by
throttling the assembly outlet.

‣

Adjust measured value filter.

Pay attention to the troubleshooting information in the Operating Instructions for the

transmitter. Check the transmitter if necessary.
