12.1.1 Flushing rings

The use of flushing rings allows the process membrane to be cleaned without

removing the device from the process.

Notes on cleaning

• The cleaning agents used should not corrode the surfaces and the seals

• Mechanical damage to the process membrane, e.g. due to sharp objects, must be avoided

• Observe the degree of protection of the device
