Local operation
5.3.1
Enable configuration
If necessary, enter the 4-character user code (see Section 5.3.2).
5.3.2
Lock configuration
Configuration of the ASP Station can be locked by entering a 4-character user code at the control
console (see ’Description of device functions’ in the ASP Station 2000 operating instructions.)
The user code is entered in the SET - DEVICE SETTINGS menu level under the CODE function.

Confirmation of error messages
Acknowledge error messages on the control unit display by pressing the operating key beneath the
OK field.

Communication via PC software

The ASP Station 2000 can also be remotely configured and measured values accessed using a PC
with the Hauser operating software ReadWin
®
2000. ReadWin
®
2000 is a universal PC
programme for remote device operation. The interface for remote configuration is the RS232
connection socket.

After the pneumatics are connected and the assembly is wired to a control unit, the device is
operational.
