Installation and Setup  

3.1

 

Ambient Conditions 

The setup location must meet the following requirements: 

Ambient temperature during operation 

+10 °C to +35 °C (50 °F to 93 °F)  

Ambient temperature during operation 
during shipping and storage 

– 40 °C to +70 °C (-40 °F bis 158 °F) 

Max. rel. humidity:  

85 %  

Space requirements (D X W X H): 

ca. 90 cm x 80 cm x 90 cm 
(approx.: 35.4 x 31.5 x 35.4 inch) 

Load bearing capacity: 

min. 80 kg (176 lb) 

Electrical connection: 

230 V; 50/60 Hz 

 

 

Ventilation slots at the rear must be free (minimum distance 15 cm).

 

 

Make sure that the TOPwave microwave system is set up and operated in a corro-
sion-free environment.  

 

If the microwave is used in a fume hood it is not allowed to use open acid in this 

hood. As well the opening of the microwave pressure vessel must happen in a sepa-
rate fume hood. 

 

When the system is installed outside the hood the released gases must be safely 

discharged through the vent system via the PFA exhaust tube that is to be inserted in 
the oven.
