iPULSE Radio Serial Port Settings
The following screen shot shows the contents of the
Serial Port
tab for an iPULSE radio.
The following tables describe the settings found in each group in the
Serial Port
tab.
Communication Settings
Field Name
Description
Mode
The mode in which the physical port operates.
Baud rate
The signaling rate to use when communicating with the device connected
to the serial port.
Data bits
The number of data bits to use when communicating with the device
connected to the serial port.
iPULSE radios only support 8 data bits.
Parity
The type of parity to use when communicating with the device connected
to the serial port.
Stop Bits
The number of stop bits to use when communicating with the device
connected to the serial port.
