1. Move the switch to ON position to allow the light to turn on automatically at night. Keep the switch at OFF position to
shut down the automatic turn on function.
2. Place the assembled solar light under sun exposure for at least 8 hours. This will allow the battery to be fully charged.
Once the battery is fully charged, the light will automatically turn on at night and off in the morning.
Note: If the solar light doesn’t light up after 8 hours of charging, make sure that the switch position is already set
to ON. If the switch is already on the ON position, but the light is still not working, check the battery to ensure
that it securely makes contact with the terminals. Otherwise make sure the light is in a place where it can get
direct and full sunlight. Depending on weather conditions, it may take 4-5 days to fully charge the battery.
During the day, the solar panel collects sunlight and converts it into electricity and stores it into the rechargeable battery
included. At night, solar light turns on automatically with the electricity stored in the rechargeable battery. The number of
hours that the solar light illuminates depends on your geographical location, weather condition and season. The more
sunlight received during the day, the longer the solar light will be able to illuminate in the evening.
1. Choose an outdoor location with full, direct sunlight where the solar light is able to receive at least 8 hours of sunlight
daily.
2. Shady location will not allow the battery to be fully charged and will reduce solar light illumination hours at night.
3. Do not place the solar light near another outdoor lighting source such as a streetlight, as it may disturb the sensor of
the solar light to illuminate at night.
1. Remove carefully the main body from the package
2. Put the switch to “On” position before using it. (Diagram A)
3. Place in an area where the solar panel will receive the maximum
amount of direct sunlight.
WARNING:
Do not put the rechargeable battery near fire. This will avoid
exploding or leaking. Use only 1.2V AAA Rechargeable Ni-MH battery,
which is available from your local retailers.
1. Unscrew all the screws to open the battery compartment.
2. Remove and replace the old battery with the new one of the same rating. Make sure to install the battery matching the
correct polarity (+/-).
3. Put back in place battery cover and screw to tighten it.
4. Restore light to full operation.
