Connecting Terminal Interface
Hardware Setup
To communicate with the bootloader a RS232 terminal interface is used. Use the null
modem cable to connect the DSUB-connector with a free serial port of your PC.
Please use the following configuration for your terminal software:

Connecting Ethernet Interface
Use the Ethernet interface for fast software updates or Internet communication. Just
connect the hardware and your Ethernet switch to an Ethernet cable.
Because emtrion uses different Ethernet Controllers on the DIMM modules the voltage for the
LAN transformer must be configured depending on the used CPU module. You can set the voltage with
the jumper J4 on the DIMM-Base Verno.
