Dear Customer,
congratulations on the purchase of the EMP-Centauri product. Before its installation and putting into
operation, read carefully the entire operation manual. Keep the purchase and rework (if any) records for
future need.
1) Field of Application, Warranty
The product is intended for amplification of RF signals in coaxial distribution systems of satellite and
terrestrial TV and radio signals. The amplifiers are usually needed in cascade-type of wiring or in case of
very long cable runs.
EMP-Centauri's E.LITE CLASS products are covered under 4 (four) years warranty from the date of
purchase, see details in document “General trade conditions” published at website
The user will be responsible for injury or material damage which may arise in consequence of any product
use in contradiction with the manual. Repairs or any interventions in the product may be performed only by
EMP-Centauri company, or other companies authorized by EMP-Centauri.
2) Technical Specifications
Products A9/9EUC-4, A13/13EUC-4 and A17/17EUC-4 are compact amplifiers with high gain, high output
signal level, gain and slope adjustment.
Products A9/9EUC12dB-4, A13/13EUC12dB-4 and A17/17EUC12dB-4 are low-gain version with no
adjustment options.
Amplifiers is powered from power supply PA12 2A (included). The voltage appears on every SAT input and
can supply the LNB. This voltage also appears on V/H & TERR outputs and can supply other devices in the
cascade. All other outputs are DC blocked.
