client.

7.1.4

Network considerations

When installing the Rosemount 3DVision Clients and Servers in a secured network or when it is needed
to access the Rosemount 3DVision Server from an external connection (WAN – Wide Area Network) it is
required to open TCP Ports in Firewalls, Routers or other devices or applications that might block such
communication.

The required TCP Ports are:



22220 – Control Port



22221 – Used for data Connection



22222 – Connection of Rosemount 3DVision Client to Server



22223 – Logs Download Data Port

Additional TCP ports may be required when integrating the 3DVision to SCADA/DCS system using
Modbus communication protocol. See

Table 7-5 on page 72
