Mounting the Rosemount System Controller

The Rosemount System Controller metal cabinet is designed for wall mounting using four screws. The
mounting location should be selected with considerations of the cabinet size and providing enough
space allowing the door to open to the right.

Figure 8-4. Metal Cabinet - Mounting Holes for Wall Mounting

Dimensions are in inches (millimeters).

Note

A readily accessible disconnect device (such as two-pole) switch or circuit breaker rated minimum
60 Vdc/5A, marked with ON and OFF position and compliant with IEC 60947-1, IEC 60947-3, should be
added externally to the Rosemount System Controller cabinet to disconnect “+” and “-” of the supply
circuit.

Note

When installing the supply and data wiring, the wiring must be properly fixed in place (e.g. by tie wraps
and additionally by the cable glands) to be sufficiently resistant to undesired pull.

Protection provided by the equipment can be impaired if used in a manner not specified by the
manufacturer.

Risk of explosion if battery in PC is replaced by an incorrect type. Replace only with the same type or
manufacturer.
