6.17.1 Configuration backup using WinSetup
Input and Holding Registers of the Rosemount
™
2460 System Hub can be stored on disk by using the
TanMaster WinSetup software. This is useful for backup purposes and troubleshooting. You can save a
predefined set of Holding Registers to make a backup copy of the current Rosemount 2460 System Hub
configuration.
To save the current configuration to file do the following:
1. Start the TankMaster WinSetup program.
2. In the TankMaster WinSetup workspace window, click the right mouse button on the device icon.
3. Choose the Devices/Save Database to File option, or from the Service menu choose Devices/Save
Database to File .
4. In the Save Database to File window choose Holding registers and the Predefined Registers option
(the User-Defined option should only be used for advanced service).
5. Click the Browse button, select a destination folder and type a name for the backup file.
6. Click the Save button to save the database backup.
