Security seal installation

Security seals protect the integrity of the meter metrology and prevent tampering with
transducer assemblies. The following sections detail how to properly seal the Daniel 3818
LNG Liquid Ultrasonic Flow Meter after commissioning. The security seal wires are
commercially available.

 

WARNING

CUTTING HAZARD
Sharp edges may be present on the meter.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment when working on the meter.
Failure to comply can cause serious injury to personnel.

Be sure to set the WRITE PROT. switch on the CPU Module to the ON position prior to
sealing the enclosure.

3.7.1

Sealing the Transmitter Electronics Enclosure

Use the following instructions to install the security seal wires on the Transmitter
Electronics Enclosures.
