Ethernet

Two Ethernet devices can be connected to the RTM via the two RJ-45 connectors on the face
plate. The following connector pinout gives information on which signal is assigned to which pin.
The "x" stands for the number of the interface.

RTM and telephone damage
E1/T1 interfaces on face plate
On the face plate, RJ-45 connectors are used for different interfaces. Mismatching the
interfaces, i.e. connecting a telephone or an E1/T1 network to the serial interfaces
labeled as COM or connecting a serial device to a RJ-45 connector labeled as E1/T1
may damage the telephone or the RTM.
Therefore, only connect E1/T1 networks to RJ-45 connectors labeled as E1/T1 ports
and only connect serial devices to RJ-45 connectors labeled as COM.
