5.2 Titration stand
5.2.1 Installing the titration stand
When delivered, the titration vessel is already assembled
com plete with O-ring, lid and threaded ring. The seal is se-
cured in the titration stand. If you wish to change the lid or re-
place the O-ring, the illustration can be used as a guide. The
titration arm can be pivoted in both directions.
a) Carefully slide the magnetic stirring rod supplied into the
titra tion vessel.
b) Place the titration vessel in position by inserting the lobe
on the threaded ring into the center groove of the titration
arm and then pressing down onto the magnetic stirrer.
Tight en the fastening screw.
c) Place the three hole adapter, NS stopper and connecting
piece into the lid openings.
d) Fill a drying tube fitted with a molecular sieve, close with
the lid and press into the titration stand so that leak tight-
ness is ensured. Use the silicone tube to connect the lid
to the connecting piece.
