Zoning Tasks Reference Chart
Table 4-1 provides a summary of tasks that you can perform using the
Zoning
options and a quick reference on how to use these options.
Configuring New Zoning for a Fabric on page 4-6 provides detailed
steps on how to establish new zones and zone sets in a fabric.
Other Zoning Tasks on page 4-16 provides detailed instructions on
performing other zoning tasks such as copying, deleting, and
modifying zones and zone sets, activating/deactivating zone sets,
finding zones and WWNs, and enabling/disabling the default zone.

Set or Modify Zone Set
dialog boxes.
Enter a zone name, then
drag port numbers and
WWNs from the
Attached port/nodes
section to the Members
in zone section.
Create zone sets by
adding zones from the
Zone Library then add
the zone sets to the
Zone Set Library. New Zone Set Select New Zone Set in
the Actions icon pop-up
menu on the Zone Sets
dialog box. Enter a zone set name,
then drag zones from the
Zone Library section to
the Zones in Set
section.
