Installing a Storage Processor

CAUTION

Depending on its state and configuration, your system may take
several minutes to boot and integrate the new SP. Monitor the
process patiently; pay particular attention to the SP fault LED codes
described in Table 3-2 on page 3-5.

4. Turn the latches on either side of the SP module to the secure

position.

The storage processor latches hold the module in an established position.
They do not pull or otherwise help to seat the SP.

5. Reconnect all cables to the new storage processor.

6. Remove and store the ESD wristband.
