Test set-up
The following information is important for a correct test set-up:

1. All lines not being tested must be decoupled:
- by CDN’s where the RF input ports are terminated by a 50
Ω
load resistor
- by an EM Clamp
- by ferrites on the cables
2. The CDN’s must be connected very well to the ground reference plane.
3. The lines of the EUT must be isolated by 30mm from the ground
reference plane (whenever possible). This is also valid for lines not
being tested.
4. The EUT must be isolated by 100mm from the ground reference plane.
5. The coaxial cables must be as short as possible. It is recommended to
use cables shipped with the CWS 500A.
6. The 50
Ω
matching resistor must be HF type.
