PRE-INSPECTION
Check the contents of each carton to make sure no damage has occurred during transit or handling. Let us know
immediately if anything appears to be damaged.
Contact your freight company or dealer and file a claim - all products leave our factories and distribution centers
completely clean and fully functional. Normally, we’ll replace damaged product immediately and await freight
claim results so you can get your job done. Please take photos (particularly shipping cartons) and send them along
with a description of the damage.
SELECTING SPEAKER LOCATIONS
Elura angle woofer speakers are designed as a powerful acoustic compliment to any home theater entertainment
center. They are most popular as rear channel surround speakers to complete a 5.1 or 7.1 system. However, they
can be used in variety of applications, including in-ceiling LCR installations (left/right/center) or as a stereo pairs for
special listening rooms.
Take your usual care when selecting speaker locations and placement. Avoid wiring, plumbing, lighting fixtures
and HVAC ducting. Speaker wiring should already be in position for new construction – watch for studs and joists
when making your cut-outs.
SPECIAL FEATURES
The Red Label LCRZ in-ceiling speaker is designed with an 18 degree offset woofer for aiming toward the primary
listening area. Depending on room reflectivity, the speaker frame may be turned any direction during installation
to accommodate your individual preference for low frequency bass response. The rotating bridge feature enables
you to rotate the high frequency drivers in the general direction of your listening area, independent of the woofer
position. In addition, both midrange and tweeter can be independently aimed for precision sound reproduction.
SPEAKER INSTALLATION
We package the Red Label Series with the grille on to prevent possible damage. You’ll find the paint mask and
adhesive chips to attach the mask are packaged adjacent to the speakers. Position the dog ears flush with the
baffle frame and hold next to your cut-out.
Connect the speaker wires (+ to + / - to -), install the speakers and connect to the amplifier. For multiple speakers,
be sure to check impedance matching.
SOUND DISPERSION
Depending on room size it is best to place speakers approximately 12’ from one another. Proper spacing will
improve sound imaging. Consider the room environment and furniture placement while selecting your primary
listening area.
