Copy the firmware file to the root directory of the USB drive;
Connect the USB drive to the USB port of the device. The set-top box should be turned on;
Press and hold the function button «F», located on the bottom panel of the device;
Enable the set-top box, while holding the «F» button;
Release the F button after entering the firmware emergency mode. The message will appear on the
screen:
Next, the bootloader (recovery) menu will appear on the screen:
Check «Recover from OTA-zip»
→
«Update through USB-disk»
→
Choose the ota–firmware image file:
After that the update will begin.
When the update process is complete, you must reboot the set-top box.
10.4 Update and configuration via ACS
By default, the set-top box is configured to communicate with the
ACS
server with
acs-eltex.local
host
address.
