To view a local terminal operation log, use the
show log
command.

You can apply a filter to log messages. To do this, use the
show log grep
command. The command takes
a string as a parameter that is used for search in the log. Only the messages containing the string will be
displayed on the screen.
LTP-8X# show log grep pmchal
If console output or output to CLI sessions is configured for the log messages, the messages will be
output to these devices automatically as soon as they are generated. User does not need to perform any
additional operations.
When a remote syslog server is used, use the log display tools provided by the server.
