Charging
The TX-A1243 has an integrated rechargeable Li-ion battery
(1900mAh)

Use the micro USB cable
to charge the TX-A1243
via the micro USB port.
Tips:
Please fully charge the TX-A1243 before installation of
Kit on your Apple USB Keyboard.

LED status indication in solid red: The TX-A1243 is being charged. LED
goes out when battery is fully charged.
3.
The power consumption of USB Keyboard is high. It is highly
recommended to charge TX-A1243 every 10 days depending on how
often to use your keyboard.
Note: There is no battery level indication in the Bluetooth assistant or a warning
Power On/ Off
There is a power ON/Off switch on the TX-A1243
1.
Switch the button to the right position to power on the TX-A1243 and to the
left position to power it off.
2. There is no need to power off the
TX-A1243 (i.e. over night) in order to
save battery power. The TX-A1243 will
go into sleeping mode once it is not
actively being used. To re-activate the TX-A1243, simply press any key on the
keyboard, and the connection is re-established immediately.

However, it would be highly recommended to turn power off if over weekend
or even longer period of not actively being used.
Connecting to host Mac (via Bluetooth)
The TX-A1243 is fully compatible for Apple Keyboard (A1243), but
does not support 2 USB Hub of Apple Keyboard.
The connecting process is basically the same as with any other Bluetooth
device and can be done by using the Bluetooth assistant in System
Preferences.

Plug USB cable of Apple Keyboard into USB port of TX-A1243.

Open the Bluetooth assistant by opening the System Preferences -->
Bluetooth.

Make sure that Bluetooth is activated (Bluetooth: On).

Press the pairing button on the TX-A1243. The LED in green flashes until a
connection has been established.

The connecting process varies with different OS versions:
- Mac OS X 10.5 to 10.9: Press the "+" in the lower left hand corner so the
Bluetooth assistant searches actively for new Bluetooth devices.
- Mac OS X 10.10 and higher: The Bluetooth assistant searches automatically
for new Bluetooth devices.
6. On the right side in the list of "Devices", you should see the entry "LMP
TX-1243".
- Mac OS X 10.5 to 10.8: Press "Connect". You get an 8-digit code on your
screen. Enter the eight digits on Apple Keyboard and press the key "enter"
on the Apple Keyboard at the end. The connection should be established
and you see the entry " LMP TX-1243 " in the list of active Bluetooth
devices.
- Mac OS X 10.9 and 10.10: Press "Connect". You get a 6-digit code on your
screen. Enter the six digits on Apple Keyboard and press the key "enter" on
the Apple Keyboard at the end. The connection should be established and
you see the entry " LMP TX-1243 " in the list of active Bluetooth devices.
- Mac OS X 10.11 and higher: Press "Connect". The connection between Mac
and TX-A1243 is automatically established and you see the entry " LMP
TX-1243 " in the list of active Bluetooth devices.
