Fault Cause Action
The satellite does not foam or
(only for Blocksat RFD) disinfect
Is the handle in the correct position? Foaming: white mark.
Rinsing: bleu mark.
Disinfection: red mark. (only for Blocksat RFD)
Is there sufficient agent in the jerry can? Check jerry can
Is the suction hose immersed far enough into
the liquid?
Check suction hose position
Is compressed air present when foaming? Checked compressed air supply
Is the correct lance and nozzle mounted? Foaming: white lance.
Rinsing: bleu lance.
Disinfection: red lance. (only for Blocksat RFD)
The satellite foams or (only for
Blocksat RFD) disinfects poorly
Is the water supply pressure constant and
sufficiently high?
Check the water supply
Are the correct nozzle, lance & gun being used? Check set-up
Is the air pressure sufficient? Adjust reducer setting, if necessary. Only during
foaming.
The injector draws insufficient agent during
foaming/disinfection.
Check the suction lance, restriction and injector for
contamination.
Are water and/or compressed air coming out of
the overflow valve?
Replace/repair non-return valve in satellite.
