11.0 SIGNAL MEASUREMENT BY MEANS OF AN
OSCILLOSCOPE
The figure below illustrates the points to which the oscilloscope probe shall be connected.
The chart below illustrates the waveforms accounting for the signal quality.
1- The barrier is at rest; no persons are walking by and no disturbance due to moving objects occurs; the level is
steady (approximately on the line). Verify that the rest conditions is as described.
2- Either the barrier is disturbed or the sensitive area is being crossed (partial darkening).
3- The barrier has been darkened and an alarm situation occurs.
