6.4.1
Partial reset from keypad and configurator
Partial reset is only possible from the keypad and the configurator. Proceed as follows to reset:
1. Enter the Technician code after enabling it using the Master code.

PARTIAL RESET ARE YOU SURE?

5. Returns all devices connected to the control unit and the control unit itself to the default configuration.
The devices learnt on the bus continue to be associated with their serial numbers (with the default
configurations).
6. Wireless and ZigBee devices acquired on individual boards are not removed. In particular, the following
items are set to default: wireless sirens, wireless remote controls and wireless keypads. By resetting
the wired inputs to default, the wireless input programming is also lost. As a result, they are reset to
the default configuration (as when they were learnt). The history, keys, codes and names assigned to
the wired PrIOs, wireless device and ZigBee devices are not deleted
7. The PARTIAL RESET event is stored in the history.
8. The system configuration parameters are not changed.
6.4.2
Total reset from keypad and configurator
A total reset is only possible from the keypad and configurator. Proceed as follows to reset:
1. Enter the Technician code after enabling it using the Master code.

MAINTENANCE TOTAL RESET
appears.
4. The message
TOTAL RESET ARE YOU SURE?
will appear. Press
OK
to confirm or
ESC
to quit. If

is pressed, the message
TOTAL RESET...
will appear.
5. All peripherals and devices connected on the BUS line are reset to default values.
6. Only the following are not reset: IP address, DHCP if enabled.
7. Codes and keys are not reset but their associations with sectors and scenarios are deleted
8. The system history is not cleared.
Important: After this operation, the keypads no longer communicate with the control unit and all
the devices connected on the BUS line must be reacquired using the appropriate procedure using
the configurator.
6.4.3
Reset Master, Technician, Technician Manager and User codes from keypad
From keypad:
1. Enter the Master code or the Technician code.

4. Press the

USERS DEFAULT USERS
appears on the display.
5. Select the code that you want to reset to the default value and press the
OK
button to select.
6. Press the

button and then the
OK
button again to confirm the operation. The code is reset to
default settings.
7. The operation must be carried out for each individual code to be set to DEFAULT.
6.4.4
Reset user codes from configurator (MEDEA CONTROL)
Proceed as follows to reset a single user code.
From the configurator (using the technician code):
1. Enter the configurator
2. Select
PROGRAMMING
→
USERS
→
select single code
.
3. Click on the "" icon.
When the operation is complete, the selected code returns to its default value.
