Adjusting caterpillar track tension
• Place the machine on an even, paved surface (e.g. concrete or asphalt, etc.).
• Turn the engine off and take the key out of the ignition.
• First, partially loosen the 2 M10 locking bolts (spanner size 17).
• Then loosen the M10 lock nut (spanner size 17).
• The front guide wheel can now be moved forwards by turning the M10 control bolt (span
-
ner 17). This will tension the caterpillar track.
• Caution: you must always be able to depress the centre of the track (between guide wheel
and drive wheel) by x cm. If not, make the appropriate adjustments.
• Once the caterpillar track tension is set correctly, tighten the lock nut and the 2 locking
bolts.
• Repeat this process for the other caterpillar track.
