Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following.
1.
Do not touch hot surfaces.
2.
Do not immerse cord plug or appliance in water or other liquid.
3.
Close supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is being used or
cooling.
4.
Allow to cool before adding or removing accessories.
5.
Always switch off at the wall socket and then unplug from wall socket when not in
use and before cleaning

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
has malfunctions or has been damaged. If in doubt consult the authorised dealer or
a qualified electrician

Do not use outdoors or in damp/wet environments.
8.
This appliance is for household use only.
9.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, touch hot surfaces or sharp
edges.
10.
Do not place on or near a heat source.
11.
Toasting Lever must be in the “Up” position before attaching or disconnecting the
plug from wall outlet.
12.
Utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as they may increase the risk of electric
shock or fire.
13.
Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in always disconnect from
the power supply.
14.
Use this product in a space where there are no combustible or flammable materials.
15.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating
use extreme care when using this appliance.
16.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a qualified electrician.
17.
The product should not be used by children or infirm persons unless adequate
supervision or training is given.
18.
Ensure that the voltage of the appliance matches the mains voltage of the location
where it is to be used.
