9 Maintenance
9.1 Maintenance safety rules
OBLIGATION!: All EXTRAORDINARY maintenance operations must be performed exclusively by qualified ELETTROLASER S.R.L. staff
(please refer to paragraph 4.8) or staff authorized by this company, with the necessary technical know-how to perform these
operations in conditions of maximum safety and in full compliance with currently effective regulations and laws on the subject.
WARNING!: Failure to observe these safety instructions can cause injuries, death or damage to the machine.
WARNING!: Every maintenance operation must be performed with the machine switched off, after having disconnected all sources
of electrical power supply from it. This is the only way to make sure that no accidental starting of the machine will occur while the
maintenance staff is working.
WARNING!: Some components of the electrical equipment may still be live even after the electricity has been disconnected.
WARNING!: When requiring the opening of cover panels, maintenance of the machine must be performed exclusively by qualified
staff (please refer to paragraph 4.8) from ELETTROLASER S.R.L. or authorized by the company.
WARNING!: If, during maintenance operations performed by the specialized ELETTROLASER S.R.L. staff, operations involving the
line-of-sight laser trace are required, the work area will be considered a class IV LASER safety area. In this case, all persons within
the area must wear the required protection devices (special protective glasses for the indicated wavelength (1.064 nm)), or exit
the area in question. We recommend delimiting the area during maintenance and servicing operations by using fixed walls or
protection curtains.
9.2 Ordinary maintenance
9.2.1 Checking safety signs
Check the presence (in the pre-established points, please refer to paragraph 4.4), integrity and readability of all safety signs on the
machine,
every six months .
