“Laser” operation settings page
This display area shows the power, in kilowatts, of the welding shot set for the selected welding program; the stored ID
number of the program is indicated under item 8.
Next to this area you will find the
and
controls. When pressed, these controls allow the operator to increase or
decrease the set value.
This display area shows the duration, in milliseconds, of the welding shot set for the selected welding program; the stored
ID number of the program is indicated under item 8.
Next to this area you will find the
and
controls. When pressed, these controls allow the operator to increase or
decrease the set value.
This display area shows the diameter, in millimeters, of the laser beam focus point on the workpiece, as set for the selected
welding program; the stored ID number of the program is indicated under item 8.
Next to this area you will find the
and
controls. When pressed, these controls allow the operator to increase or
decrease the set value.
This display area shows the repetition rate of the laser pulse, in hertz, set for the selected welding program; the stored ID
number of the program is indicated under item 8.
Next to this area you will find the
and
controls. When pressed, these controls allow the operator to increase or
decrease the set value.
Once the minimum permissible value has been reached, pressing the
control again will cancel the repeated beam
trigger function (thus, the machine will gen
erate a single laser shot): in this case, the display will show two dashes, “
- -
”.
Note: In any case, the permissible repetition rate value is connected to the power (Kw) and time (ms) settings. It is impossible
to work with high power settings and time values set at the maximum repetition rate value, as an auto-adjustment function
will decrease the repetition rate value in relation to the power output.
This display area shows the countdown for the remaining time, in seconds, during which inert gas is dispensed to protect
the welding operation after the latest shot.
Next to this area you will find the
and
controls. When pressed, these controls allow the operator to increase or
decrease the set value.
Note: When this parameter is set to “
--
”
(two dashes), welding will take place without using the inert shield gas.
This display area shows the laser pulse waveform set for the selected welding program; the stored ID number of the
program is indicated under item 8.
Next to this area you will find the
and
controls. When pressed, these controls allow the operator to select the wave
form from the 5 available options.
Note: The default laser pulse waveform of the programs is set as “normal” (squared wave).
View-only area displaying the interface messages indicating the status of the machine, including minor error warnings.
