15.6.3 Date / time
Under Date / Time you can adjust date and time. See also section 4.4.1
Parameter settings.
The gauge is equipped with a quartz-controlled clock (see section 4.3.2
Setting selection parameters). The current time is shown at the top right
of screen. If connected to the data printer or a PC, the date and time of
creation and/or last modification of a batch can be added to the print-
out / evaluation protocol.
15.6.4 Data output
Chose „Data output“ from the “Setup“ menu. The setting options are:

Data output setting “Infrard (IrDA
®
)“
In the infrared setting, data transfer will be wireless.
Ch
ose “Infrared (IrDA) ” if data (readings and statistics) should be
printed out on the MiniPrint 7000 data printer or transferred to a PC.
Make sure your PC is equipped with an IR interface. Once the IrDA
option is enabled, a permanent connection between QuintSonic 7 and a
PC or printer in direct proximity will be established. The PC will indicate
a wireless connection being established. A message will appear
“MiniTest 7 in proximity”.
If further IR devices are in direct proximity, a message will appear
“Further devices in proximity”.
