PACKAGING

All the packaging materials used are environmentally friendly.
They may burnt at an incineration plant or sent for recycling.

TESTS / CERTIFICATES

All electrical appliances are VDE tested. They fulfil standards
EN 60 335 as well as EC Low voltage Directive 73/23/EEC. All
appliances are tested and approved for Degree of Protection
IP X5.
The appliance noise level is negligibly low. The statutory gui-
delines are met; the noise level is less than 70 dB (A).

The installation, adjustment and initial opera-
tion of the appliance must be properly carried
out in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions and may only be done by an autho-
rised specialist.

Installations for the supply of electricity must be
carried out by qualified installers in accordance
with the specific national and local regulations.
They bear the responsibility.

The manager is responsible for ensuring that
all components relevant for safety are in per-
fect working order at all times. The operating
condition of these components must be exami-
ned by an authorized technician at least once a
year and any defects remedied if required.

The operator of this appliance is responsible
for total observation of the national regulations
concerning operating safety.

The appliance must only be operated under the
supervision of qualified trained staff.

Closed containers (jars, cans, bottles, tubes,
etc.) must not be heated owing to the danger of
bursting and injuries.

Do not place any other objects apart from coo-
king vessels on the ceramic plate since they
heat up during operation (danger of fire and
burning).

The hot plates must not be used as rest sur-
faces.

The appliance is only approved for the cooking
of food in commercial establishments.

Touching the hotplates can cause burns.

Spraying the appliance or its parts with a

high-

pressure cleaning device

may cause mal-

functions and is not to be done.

To avoid damages of the appliance do not let
water flow from the mixer tap onto the cooking
plates.

For appliances with a downpipe, the hose
should lead into a drain opening which is cov-
ered by a grating such that it cannot be kicked
or tipped, or a drain gutter should run under-
neath the appliance.

In the event of a permanent fault which interfe-
res with operation, the appliance must be swit-
ched off and disconnected from the power sup-
ply.

Repair, maintenance work and other adjust-
ments are only to be carried out by an authori-
zed specialist. The valid local and national
regulations must be observed. This applies
especially to safety and control elements. Parts
requiring replacement are only to be replaced
by original spare parts. A service contract is
recommended.

The symbol on the product indicates that this
product should not be treated as domestic
waste, but must be correctly disposed of in
order to prevent possible negative conse-
quences for the environment and the human
health.

Regarding the recycling of this product,
please contact the sales agent or dealer of
your product, your after-sales service or the
appropriate waste disposal service.
