Electrolux Water Treatment
External reverse osmosis filter
The Electrolux dishwashing range is produced for customers with the highest conceivable demands in efficient, economic
and ergonomic dishwashing operations. The product range comprises glasswashers, pot and pan washers,
undercounter, hood type, rack type and flight type dishwashers. The Reverse Osmosis Filter described on this sheet is
suited for installations in which high quality rinsing and spot-free drying and low operational costs are required. It has
been specifically designed to be used with our glasswasher, undercounter and hood type machines. Thanks to the
Reverse Osmosis technology, all the impurities (salt, particles and bacteria) contained in the water are completely
removed, eliminating any deposit on the glassware and silverware, thus guaranteeing shiny and spot-free results.
EASY TO INSTALL
• The reverse osmosis filter treats
the water before it feeds into the
dishwasher. Available in two
versions: one for atmospheric
machines and one for pressure
machines; the version for pressure
machines is equipped with a
buffer tank to guarantee the
dishwasher minimum working
pressure.
• When used with hard water
(water hardness > 27 fH), a
polyphosphate filter is
recommended to reduce
membrane damage and the need
for descaling. The unit can be
used with a maximum hardness of
45 fH (or 2000µS/cm conductivity).
For harder water, a softener
should be installed.
• Nominal flow rate is 300
liters/hour.
• The reverse osmosis filter
requires cold water (min 2 °C, max
30°C) and feeding water pressure
between 2-10 bar.
EASY TO USE
• The unit is a multi-step physical
filter: a built-in prefiltering device
(sediment filter and an active
carbon filter) eliminates particles,
chlorine and possible odors from
the water; the final filtering level
uses the "reverse osmosis"
principle pushing high-pressure
water through a semi-permeable
membrane to remove more than
95% of salt and impurities.
• Clear control lights on the front
cover allow the user to constantly
check the water quality.
EASY TO CLEAN
• Impurities and bacteria retained
by the membrane are eliminated
by means of a self-cleaning
system. Automatic membrane
flushing occurs every 15 minutes
during continuous operation or at
the end of each operation cycle.
EASY TO MAINTAIN
• The use of softened water
dramatically increases the life of
the unit and reduce the need for
descaling.
EASY ON THE ENVIRONMENT
• Developed and produced in an
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified
factory.
• CFC free packaging.
