CHAPTER 4: STANDALONE APPLICATION

The Electric 88 Piano application can be used as a standalone instrument. It requires an ASIO driver for Windows or a Core Audio

driver for Mac OS X. Opening ELECTRIC 88.exe (Win) or ELECTRIC 88.app (MAC) loads the Electric 88 Piano standalone instrument and

guration preferences dialogs.

The standalone application’s menu

le contains 3 items:

• All Notes O

ff

Sends an All-Notes-O

ff

MIDI command to the Electric 88 Piano. Useful in cases of “stuck” sustaining notes.

• Preferences

Displays the preferences dialog for Audio, MIDI, and User Choices con

gurations.
