On the main screen is displayed a stylized drawing of the water heater (boiler, indoor unit) with two
heat exchangers, an outdoor unit and installations with solar collector. The heat exchanger
connected to the outdoor unit is the condenser around the water tank and the one connected to the
solar collector – a serpentine inside the water tank. In order to better visualize the operation of
individual elements in the system, there are several animated objects on the screen: motion of the
heat pump blade, shining sun in front of the solar collector, movement of the circulation pump, and
rising bubbles in the water above the electric heater.
The main display always shows the boiler
temperatures, ambient air temperature, solar collector temperature, time and date.
The field "Additional Features of the Boiler" displays information when the boiler is turned off or
performs any of its specific additional functions. The text in this field may be the following:
Anti-Legionella
– the boiler will now be heated up to 70 ° C by the the electric heater in order
to destroy the dangerous Legionella bacteria.
Discharging
– a procedure is currently in place for discharing the accumulated heat in the
boiler so that on the next day the heat from the solar collector can be collected without
overheating the water
Enhanced heating
– Operation mode is switched on with all available heat sources until the
set temperature is reached. The function is then turned off
Freeze Protection
- Protection against freezing of the boiler or solar. By turning on the electric
heater, the water in the boiler is heated to avoid freezing, and by means of the solar pump the
heat from the boiler is pumped out to protect also the solar panel.
Protection Solar
- Protection against overheating of the solar. If the solar thermal sensor
does not work, the solar circulation pump will be switched on continuously to avoid
overheating of the solar installation
Vacation
– The boiler is in a manually activated mode Vacation that aims to discharge the
accumulated heat at night so that the next day, when it is heated again, to prevent overheating
of the solar collector
Timer control
- one of the four timers is currently active in the menu "Timers 1/2" and the
current time is in its range. The timer function is to change the set temperature to that set for
each timer when it is active and the current moment is within its range
Off
Information field
- Basically, this field displays the date, starting with the day of the week, in format
DD / MM / YYYY. When a fault is detected by the self-diagnosis system, the date and information for
the malfunction will alternate in the field at the bottom line, and a clear audible signal will be heard at
the same time. Error messages are described in Table 2.
Delete alarms
When any of the alerts that trigger an alarm are corrected, the message that came with it may
disappear from the information field. If all error messages disappear, the alarm stops. Exceptions are
made by several heat pump alarms or hazardous situations with the boiler. To clear these alarms,
you must press and hold the Enter button for more than 2 seconds when the controller is in the main
screen. When the alarms are cleared, the message is displayed "
Errors are cleared
"
ATTENTION!
If one of the heat sources is not activated by the "Heat sources" menu, it is
darkened and the corresponding temperature field is not displayed. If the electric heater is not
activated, it will not be visible.
ATTENTION!
If the watch is not set, it will be displayed with dashes --:--. The thermal regulator
has a battery that supports timing for short-term power supply failure. The maximum time is 24
hours, then the clock will turn itself off and resetting will be necessary.
