5 THE MEASUREMENT SCREEN
Your gauge has four types of measurement screen:

A-Scan Waveform, RF
•
A-Scan Waveform, RECT
•
B-Scan
•
Digits
To see the measurement screen, press MEAS.
To select which measurement screen to use, press MENU, select DISP, select VIEW and then
select RF, RECT, B-SCAN or DIGITS.
5.1 ITEMS COMMON TO ALL MEASUREMENT SCREENS
A number of items are common to all the measurement screens:

Battery Icon
Remaining battery life.
B
Repeatability/Stability
Indicator
This indicator is used in conjunction with the digital thickness
values displayed. When all the vertical bars are fully illuminated
and the last digit on the digital thickness value is stable, your
gauge is reliably measuring the value.

Material Thickness
Value/
Material Velocity Value
The thickness or sound velocity of the material under the
transducer (type depends upon measurement view)
D
Units
The current measurement units (Metric/English).
