22.2 The Property Editor
Precise control over the layout, attributes and content of an object is obtained by modifying the
properties of the object using the Property Editor.
Object properties which are adjustable using the Property Editor are listed below. The list of
properties available depends upon the type of object selected (shape, memo, graphic, overview
chart, etc.):
Property
Description
3D:
Select between 3 dimensional or 2 dimensional run
charts.
Alignment:
Alignment of text in a memo block (top, middle, left,
right, etc.)
Anchor:
Defines how a block is anchored to the page. Anchor
position remains constant if page size is changed.
AspectRatio:
Defines how a graphic fits within its bounding box.
Bold:
Make text in a memo block bold.
ColumnWidthDate:
In measurements object - Width of date column (mm)
ColumnWidthPercentFS:
In measurements object - Width of percentage of full
scale column (mm)
ColumnWidthRPM:
In measurements object - Width of RPM column
ColumnWidthSheerRate:
In measurements object - Width of Sheer rate column
ColumnWidthSheerStress:
In measurements object - Width of Sheer stress
column
ColumnWidthTemperature:
In measurements object - Width of Temperature
column
ColumnWidthTime:
In measurements object - Width of Time column
ColumnWidthViscosity:
In measurements object - Width of Viscosity column
FillColor:
Fill colour of shapes.
FillStyle:
Fill style of shapes (solid, diagonals, cross hatched,
etc.)
FontColour:
Colour of text in a memo block.
FontName:
Defines font type (Arial, Times, etc.)
FontSize:
Size (in points) of text in a memo block.
Graphic:
Selects graphic file.
Grid:
Displays grid lines on histogram and run charts.
Height (mm):
Height of an object in mm.
Italic:
Defines whether text in a memo block is italic or
upright.
Left (mm):
Defines gap between left edge of page and left edge
of block (see also Top).
LineColor:
Defines colour of bounding line of shapes.
LineStyle:
Defines style of bounding line of shapes (solid, dash,
dot, etc.)
LineWidth:
Defines thickness of bounding line of shapes.
