Note: Aslo it is possible to connect the display to any COM port on 40 -pin connector. Only the first COM port
connection is shown on figure. Each next 10 pins of the connector is next COM port.
Note: Display ED-5000 connected to Uniq PC 150 occupy one communication port. It is possible connect only
display communicated via RS-232 protocol!
2.23.3. Installation of ED-5000 on rear Uniq PC 150 cover
1. Adjust rear Uniq PC 150 cover according to figure and dismount ED-5000 display.
2. Cable move through hole in the Uniq 150 cover and through leg with rear display cover.
3. Solder the cable with 5-pin connector and the DB 9F cable. Cover soldered places with tubing. Connect 5-pin
connector to XC2 connector of display PCB.
4. Assembly display.
5. Now fix the display to the rear Uniq 150 cover with screws 3 × 16 mm.
6. Connect large connector on the other end of cable to COM connector of mainboard.
7. Free end with 2-pin connector solder to:
N270: pads of XC2 connector of Pico Power, red to (+) and black to (–)
D525: connector J1, red to (+) and black to (–)

2.24. Installation of Uniq PC and Uniq Display on one Tube Holder
It is important the holder of Uniq Display is situated over the holder of Uniq PC because of IrDA diode controlling
Uniq Display via remote control.
Interconnection between devices is executed via cable described in chapter Installing of TDC-5000 with Uniq 150.
