5.7 Test of the control sum of EPROM memory
This test displays on the display and then prints the control sum of the EPROM.
The method for starting the test:
1. Switch the cash register to the programming mode P.
2. Press the number 800 on the numeric keyboard.
3. Press
l
[Multiply] button.
The process of testing:
1. The cash register finds out the control sum of the EPROM memory.
2. The evaluation of the whole process of testing will be recorded in the short report appearing on the display. This report
will also be printed on the printer.
5.8 Battery tests
5.8.1 The test of battery condition
Information about adapter connecting and the voltage value of the internal battery is displayed on the display and then printed in this
test.
The method for starting the test:
1. Switch the cash register to the programming mode P.
2. Press the number 900 on the numeric keyboard.
3. Press

The process of testing:
1. Information about adapter connecting and then the voltage value of the internal battery is displayed on the display and
then printed.
2. The process of testing is displayed on the display. After pressing the TOTAL button

5.8.2 The test of VCC1 supply
This test verifies the functionality of the VCC1 supply.
The method for starting the test:
1. Switch the cash register to the programming mode P.
2. Press the number 910 on the numeric keyboard.
3. Press

The process of testing:
1. SAVE PWR 0 and SAVE PWR 1 will alternate in being displayed on the display.
2. The supply voltage will divide from 0 V to 5 V in regular intervals.
3. Press any key to finish the test.
