Keyboard of Euro-500T Handy

5.3.2 Keyboard test 2

Keyboard test 2 evaluates the gradual pressing of the keyboard buttons. If the buttons are pressed exactly according to a

defined order (see the picture), and the keyboard or its control circuits doesnt prove faulty, the test is finished correctly.

The method for starting the test:

1. Switch the cash register to the programming mode P.
2. Press the number 310 on the numeric keyboard.
3. Press

[Multiply] button.

The process of testing:

1. According to the picture, gradually press the buttons of the keyboard in the direction of arrows.
2. If the button is pressed in wrong order, a sound signal will announce that the fault has been made. It will remain

on until you press the correct (according to the test, the following) button.

It is possible to terminate the keyboard test 2 anytime by pressing the TOTAL button
