position. If it doesn’t feel comfortable, then this may be because
the selected cup size is not the right one for you. Choosing the
right size depends on how heavy your period is, your age, your
pelvic floor muscles or whether you have given birth with a va-
ginal delivery. If you get the feeling that the pull tab is too long,
or is annoying, you can cut off one of the hearts (d).
7. Safety instructions
When inserting and removing the menstrual cup make sure
you observe hygiene conditions (e.g. washing your hands).
If you feel pain or experience an unpleasant sensation
when you are wearing the ELANEE Menstrual Cup, check
whether it is in the correct position and remove it if the
symptoms persist.
Do not wear the menstrual cup for longer than 8 hours in
one go.
The ELANEE Menstrual Cup is not to be used as a contra-
ceptive.
If you are using an intrauterine device (coil) or a vaginal
ring for contraception, consult your gynaecologist before
using the ELANEE Menstrual Cup.
Remove the ELANEE Menstrual Cup before sexual inter-
course.
The ELANEE Menstrual Cup does not provide any protec-
tion against sexually transmitted diseases.
