Load cells

Description

Load cells measure and record the weight of XDUO 2500 Mixer. All load cells are connect-
ed to a summing box, which in turn is connected to the I/O Cabinet.

Load cells are not a structural load bearing component. Load cells must be secured by
jacking bolts when the mixer is moved, for example during re-arrangement of a manu-
facturing line. The jacking bolts lift the mixer vessel up, secure it and take the load off
from the load cells, thereby preventing the damage to the load cells.

The accuracy of the mixer weight measurement should be verified when the mixer has
been moved a short distance (for example during cleaning).

Load cells are an optional component.
