Connect the load cell.
Load cell is disconnected.
Load cell is not functioning as
expected.
Verify that the mixer vessel legs
are free of any obstructions or
blocking objects.
Physical obstruction of load cell
motion.
Disengage the jacking bolt. See
Disengage jacking bolts, on
page 147
for instructions.
Note:
If the mixer was filled while the
jacking bolt was engaged, the
weight measurements of the
batch will not be accurate.
Jacking bolt is engaged.
Contact the metrology depart-
ment to do a test (cornering test)
and determine which load cell
has failed.
Load cell has failed (physically
or electrically broken).
Contact your GE representative.
The configuration on the load
cell transmitter is incorrect or
corrupt.
Contact your GE representative
and schedule the calibration of
the load cells.
Load cells must be calibrated.
