Pumps

Corrective action

Possible causes

Problem

Tighten the tubing clamps in the pump
head.

The tubing clamps in the pump head
are not properly set for the installed
tubing.

The tubing is
moving in the
pump head.

Contact your GE representative for re-
placement.

Loose wiring

•

Failed motor

•

Broken gearbox

Pump drive head
is not turning.

Move the section of worn out tubing to
the left or right.

All tubing used in the pumps will wear
out with use over time.

The tubing is worn
out.

Use only tubing rated for use in peri-
staltic pump head.

Verify that the cause of the E-Stop Ac-
tive condition is eliminated, and clear
the E-Stop Active. Try to use the pumps
again.

The system is in E-Stop Active mode
(FlexFactory controlled mixer only).

The pump is not
turning.

Verify that the cause of the E Stop
Pressed condition is eliminated, and
clear the E Stop Pressed. Try to use the
pumps again.

The system is in E Stop Pressed mode
(message displayed on local control
panel).

Reduce the instrument weight.

The instrument weight is more than
2525 kg. The system is automatically
preventing an overfilling event.

Use a functional pump head until a re-
pair can be made. Contact your GE
representative for service.

A fuse has blown.
