8.1
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The EFAPOWER EV-PC should have regular inspections of preventive maintenance. This preventive maintenance
is essential to ensure that EFAPOWER EV-PC lifetime and reliability is maximized. After the commissioning, the
technician will make a registry of maintenance that will be used to keep track of the equipment’s life cycle.
The enclosure should be inspected during maintenance for evidence of damage or deterioration. A soft cloth
moistened with water must be used to remove accumulated dust and dirt on the outside of the unit, to preserve
the integrity of the structure and avoid displacing dust or dirt into any delicate components of the equipment.
Seals and gaskets should be examined and repaired or replaced if required and fasteners tighten should be
verified. The frequency of maintenance of the enclosure should be increased with extreme weather conditions.
The preventive maintenance inspection also involves work inside de EFAPOWER EV-PC where there is presence
of dangerous AC voltage.
It is important to ensure that a complete test is carried out by a qualified technician on a twice-yearly basis.
We advise to carry out the following verifications:
