6.2
Switching on the EFA trimmer
Perform a function test before starting work.
Hold the device firmly by its handle (1).
Push the locking lever (2) forward with your thumb.
This releases the operating lever (3).
Push the operating lever (3) downwards with your thumb.
The EFA trimmer starts.
At the end of the work step, lift the EFA trimmer upwards so that the blade can cut off the strip of meat.
The work step must be completed to a full extent until the cut-off meat separates from the EFA
trimmer on its own.
The electric trimmer is protected against overloads.
The coupling will slip upon reaching harder materials, e.g. bones.
Warning!
Blocking hazard!
Do not stop the EFA trimmer during
the cutting process.
Attention!
Improper handling will lead to
increased wear!
6.3
Switching off
Because of its return spring, the locking lever automatically switches the EFA trimmer off, at the same time
securing the trimmer so that it cannot be switched on accidentally.
Warning!
Risk of crushing!
Keep your fingers out of the space between the
operating lever and handle when switching the
trimmer on.
Cutting hazard!
When it starts, the EFA trimmer lashes out
slightly due to the torque.
Ensure a firm hold!
Release the operating lever.
