6.11  Test the motor condition

Test the earth (ground) continuity and the insulation resistance of the pump-motor, in

accordance with local regulations for periodic testing of electrical equipment.
The motor of single-phase RV pumps complies with IEC 1010V1. We recommend that, to
maintain compliance with IEC 1010

1, the earth continuity is less than 0.1

 and the

insulation resistance is greater than 10 

W

.

If the motor fails these tests, the motor must be replaced.
